What it costs
miaforo charges by active users and puts every feature on every plan. Online member payments, on the paid plans only. Timp charges by staff, per site, and each higher plan adds features.

miaforo’s prices exclude VAT. Timp’s pricing page does not say whether theirs include it.
Paying six months ahead lowers Timp’s prices by 5%, and paying a year ahead by 10%.
Timp says the price can change if you add extra modules. Its Enterprise plan offers custom solutions, with no published price.

What each one does
Your members’ app
miaforo
They use the browser on their phone and add the icon to their home screen. No app store.
Timp
Your clients download Timp’s app from their phone’s app store or open a link you send from the panel. A version with your logo, name and colours comes as a progressive web app.
Taking payment from members
miaforo
Charge as you do today and record it on the member’s file. The list puts whoever owes the month first.
Timp
Your clients pay in the app when they buy a pass or a session, through Stripe. It also handles recurring charges by card or direct debit.
Getting started

Paste your member list or upload a CSV. Each member gets an invitation.
Timp
Their team migrates your database and pending passes, and an assigned agent trains you by video call. Most plans have a minimum contract of 3 months.
